Inspired by the Roman festival of fertility, health, and purification. Lupercalia is commonly known as the precursor to modern Valentine’s Day, and it’s worth noting that the word February is rooted in the Etruscan word for β€œpurging”, serving as a spiritual spring cleaning of sorts. Lupercalia perfume oil is full of aphrodisiacs, some that also double as protective or banishing plants. Exotically scented with dark cacao, spicy peppercorn, juicy cognac, golden saffron, pink lotus, and a bouquet of sensuous florals. In celebration of reclaiming the roots of this dark holiday, and not its commercialization.
